Happy IT Professionalism Week! IT Professionalism Week is a yearly celebration held by CIPS (Canada’s Association of IT Professionals) across Canada. CIPS hopes to increase awareness about the importance of professionalism, ethics, and standards in the IT industry and profession today. This week is also a time to celebrate CIPS and our professionalism resources.
I.T. Professionalism Week is being held this year from Monday October 30th to Friday November 3rd 2023. Help us raise IT standards and contact your local CIPS Provincial Society for details on how you can get involved with CIPS today.

As past Chair of the Saskatchewan Information Technology Sector Partnership with government and educators, Donna led discussions about recruitment into the IT sector and how to support career paths in Saskatchewan and Canada. Donna will describe some lessons learned and some challenges for growth of Ethical IT Talent in Canada.
