A 27-31-GHz 1024-Element Ka-Band SATCOM Phased-Array Transmitter
A scalable Ka-band 1024-element SATCOM phased-array is presented. The array is built using Renesas SiGe ICs on a low-cost PCB with +/-75° scanning, a 3 dB BW of 3.2° and an EIRP of 48 dBW at broadside. A cross-polarization level of <-24 dB in circularly polarized mode is achieved.

A Unified View of Computational Electromagnetics
This paper provides a unified overview of computational algorithms. Based on the method of weighted residuals, the node-based meshless method can unify different numerical methods and serve as a single unifying framework in understanding, deriving, and characterizing numerical methods, such as the most popular finite-element and finite-difference methods.
Wideband Solid State Switches up to Ka-Band
Mini-Circuits has expanded its family of USB-controlled solid-state switches to support signal routing applications from X-Band through Ka-Band. These unique designs achieve high isolation performance with the fast switching and long life of solid-state technology. SPDT, SP4T and SP8T configurations available from stock.

High-Resolution 400 GHz Sub-mmWave Quasi-Optical Radar Imaging System
A submillimeter-wave quasi-optical high-resolution imaging system, based on a frequency-modulated continuous wave radar sensor operating between 343 GHz and 423 GHz utilizing a bandwidth of 80 GHz, is presented. Experimental results show a lateral resolution limit on the order of a wavelength.
