Meet our Volunteer(s) of
the Month
Carol Lewis & Carol Woodcock
We began volunteering at the library about ten years ago. It was a perfect match, as we were both avid readers and active library patrons. Over the years we have watched the library expand its role as a community center offering programs for all age groups. When the new library was being built, there was some angst about leaving our cozy home, but now we realize how much more we are able to offer with the new building. During the pandemic it was inspiring for us to be able to come to the library and be part of the process of making books available to other patrons. How could any of us have made it through that period without books? One of the most important things about volunteering at the library is the people we come to know. The camaraderie and fellowship with the staff and volunteers surely makes this our “happy place”.
