8th-grade All-Pro Parent Breakfast

All eighth-grade parents and students are invited Friday, December, 8 to an All-Pro Parent breakfast in the IMS cafeteria from 7:15 - 7:40 a.m. All-Pro breakfast comes with a message for both parent and child to take away. This is a FREE event for all.

Ski Club

Ski club is back for the 2024 season! This year we will be going to Boston Mills, where the students can choose to take actual lessons or simply enjoy a night with their friends skiing or snowboarding.

Commencing after winter break, the season will begin on Friday, January 12th, 2024, and will continue for five consecutive Fridays; the end date is  February 9, 2023. Departing from IMS at 3:00, students will arrive back at school at approximately 8:20.

Depending upon rental equipment needs, or if kids have their own equipment, a variety of packages will be offered. Great Day Tours will provide transportation to and from the resort; hence, an additional bus fee will have to be paid to the school.

If you son or daughter is interested in skiing with us, please have him or her see Mrs. Frate for information. After you register, make sure you let Mrs. Frate know, otherwise you may not have a seat on the bus.

I am excited and truly looking forward to be back on the slopes with our students this season!

Club Photo Day

Club Photo Day is scheduled for Wednesday, December 6th. Pictures will be taken in the morning. We will also be taking a class picture of the 8th grade on this day.

Pep Club

The Pep Club's Annual Christmas Candy Slip Sale is underway! Paper candy slips will be sold during lunch and recess from 11/27 through 12/15. Slips are $.10 for one or three for $.25. For every six slips purchased, the buyer will receive a mini candy cane.

Proceeds from the sale will again be donated to the St. Augustine Center. For those who may not know, St. Augustine provides DAILY meals to the less fortunate; hence, any contributions received are genuinely appreciated.

At the conclusion of the sale, a grade level raffle will take place before Christmas break for all those who participated.

Hopefully, IMS will recognize the importance of helping those in need!

Thank you,

Dana M. Yaro-Linderman and the Pep Club
