2nd Annual Indigenous Business Connections
We are pleased to celebrate Indigenous People’s Day early this year with educational sessions from Mackenzie Brown from Indigenous Tourism Alberta speaking on Economic Reconciliation and Karen Mackenzie, co-founder and president of MacIntosh Canada speaking on Building Indigenous Relationships.
11:00am : Opening remarks from local dignitaries
11:30am : Tea and Bannock served
12:00pm – 1:00pm : Session #1 with Mackenzie Brown
1:00pm – 1:30pm : Lunch provided by North Central Co-op Association
1:30pm – 3:00pm : Session #2 with Karen Mackenzie
11:00am – 6:00pm : Indigenous artisan market
There will be Indigenous artisans set up in the park selling a variety of goods throughout the afternoon. In case of inclement weather, the vendors will be set up inside the Visitor Information Centre.
