Do you love to travel?

For many years the Zoological Society has hosted an annual fundraiser in support of zoo projects.

Years ago it was a fancy dress event at the country club. Since 2008, the event has been held at the zoo. That same year, it was dubbed ZooDo.

Money is raised through the ticket price, a silent auction and a live auction. Since 2021, in addition to viewing the items the night of the event and biding by writing your name on a bid sheet, it has been possible to see items and bid online.

As of September 20th, you can log in to bidpal.net/zoodo23 to see all the items and place your bid. If you prefer to examine the items in person, you will need a ticket to ZooDo.

Advantages of on-line bidding include:

• No standing in line to view the items.
• No rushing back to view the bid sheet to make sure you are still the highest bidder.
• The Buy Now options lists a price and you can seal the deal electronically.
• If you cannot attend the event, you can still bid and with luck win the items you want.

Last year the silent auction raised $17,214.
