22 Learning Insights from 22 Months of Learning

During October, I finished my Capstone paper for my master’s degree. It still seems surreal after working full time and taking classes at night for the last 22 months. The experience was amazing.

I would learn a concept on Tuesday night during class and be able to use the information a couple of days later with a client.

The material was rich, and my character was stretched during the process. Simply re-reading my notes from class this week, I discover so many little nuggets that I have already forgotten. So, to cement the material, I thought it best to write out 22 learning insights I found helpful. Check them out in this month's blog!

I truly hope you enjoy this list and that you can glean some of your own insights.

Intentional Celebrations + Latest Retreat

As I mentioned in this month's blog, after 22 months of hard work I've finished my Capstone paper for my master's degree.

After long nights of being stretched personally and professionally, I'm thrilled to have achieved this goal. I've always wanted to go back to school, but the time never seemed right, so I finally just leapt!

I am grateful to every person who pushed, supported, uplifted, and cheered me on along the way!

Above and below are a few photos from a recent retreat with the South Carolina Department of Parks, Recreation and Tourism. For the 3rd year in a row, Traci enjoyed serving as the keynote speaker for SCPRT's retreat. She spoke about ‘Life Hacks to Handle Burnout’ for a great group in beautiful setting at Santee State Park.

One attendee remarked: “You always make me think. I love our retreats because you speak with such passion and push me out of my comfort zone.”
