- We can offer knitting help/fixing mistakes in the shop again but can only spend 5-10 minutes for drop-in issues.
- Keri is on a well-earned hiatus for some R&R and unavailable until Thursday, March 24th.
-
Wednesday Knit Nights! Wendy is hosting open knitting on Wednesdays 4pm-7pm. This is social knitting for us to catchup with everyone and to ooh and aah over each other's work. We will be unable to provide fixing mistakes help during this time. The shop is also open for shopping during these hours.

Kimberly came and showed us how to seam and work our ends in like a pro. What a fabulous workshop from our friend of Knit A Rainbow fame.)
If you don't know, her Knit A Rainbow Sweater pat tern (just below, Mary is wearing hers!) has a touching story. In her words, "Rainbows and knitting have a special meaning to me, it’s the last life lesson my mother gave me before she died a year ago. I was knitting in the hospital a grey shawl (Julie’s Wrap by Joji Locatelli) and my mother asked who the shawl was for. I told her it was for me, and she closed her eyes and smiled saying, “Honey, when life is hard and days are grey… knit a rainbow”.
Can't wait for her Knit To Fit workshop - up next! That sold out in a heartbeat - sorry...

Lotus Sweater Class - WIPs
Excellent progress on Lotus sweater, all. These are cardis and you're looking at the colorwork on the back :). Almost there. Great work ... keep it up!
Mary is too cute in her Knit A Rainbow Sweater, pattern by Kimberly McAlindin, knit up in Spun Right Round Squish DK. She wore it to the workshop! Kimberly wrote the this top-down raglan pattern to mimic her fav comfy sweatshirt. Sweet, Mary! Love It!

Mildred made a sock AND is well on her way toward finishing the mate in Berroco's Ultra Wool DK. She's in Liz's Vanilla Sock class. Brava, Mildred!

That Scarf from All Creatures Great and Small...
If you watch this PBS show, you pick up on the knitwear. Here's James wearing a Fair-Isle style scarf received from his mum for his birthday - or maybe it was Christmas??? We can't remember... we were knitting!! Haha! But Lesley Booth, a designer, released a pattern free on Ravelry! It would be great with Woolstok Light or a little toastier, and we think more authentic, in Rowan Felted Tweed and Rowan Felted Tweed Colours!
