SEFAA Celebration Sampler - 10 Techniques by Karen SanMillan, a 2022 Square Foot Fiber Art Pin Up Show winning entry. This piece celebrates the diversity of fiber arts and the tenth edition of the Square Foot exhibit. It showcases ten of the techniques listed on the SEFAA individual membership application form, including: macrame, dyeing (indigo), quilting, surface design (bleach discharge), weaving, needlework (Sashiko embroidery), sewing (mitered hem & buttonhole), felting, knitting, and crochet. Materials include cotton fabric (commercial prints and hand dyed with indigo), wool and metallic yarn, cotton yarn (hand dyed with indigo), felted wool roving, a button, and poly/cotton batting.

Planning for 2024 classes is already well underway! We are focusing on national and regional instructors first so that you have plenty of time to plan for those you are interested in. It will be a while still before instructor contracts are signed and registration for 2024 classes opens, so we've added a new Upcoming section to our website. There you'll find the details of the classes that have already been scheduled including date(s), topic, title, instructor, and a brief description. Check it out now and start planning your new year. Then, check back often since there will be many more additions and, as classes open for registration, they will move from the Upcoming page to the Register page. 2024 here we come!
