Hello, Chapel family! Happy New Year! I pray that your new year has begun on the correct foot! Whether you are left or right-footed, God loves you and wants the very best for you this year.

Sometimes, it's difficult to remember that God wants only the very best for each of us. When I'm not feeling well or when things aren't going my way, I am quick to forget that God is actually looking out for me. I think part of my problem is that I can't see God when trouble surfaces. If I could physically talk to God, smell God's cologne, hear God's words and touch God's hands, I would have a much better grip on Faith. I would live a much better life.

But therein lies my problem. Having greater Faith does not mean that life will be all roses and champagne. In fact, greater Faith usually leads to greater struggles because we are more aware of other people's needs, challenges, and suffering. Then, we help to fill people's needs, assist in their challenges, and try to soothe their suffering. This leads to greater Faith with greater challenges, but the result is that we help to create a greater world.

The circle of life does not end! God needs us to stay in the game as long as possible, making a difference everywhere we go! Even if you feel like 2022 has started with two left feet, God has a special pair of shoes that only you can fill!  

You got this! I got this! Get ready 2022, here WE come!
