Dear parents,

Classes resume Monday, January 3, 2022. We are extremely blessed to have navigated the first semester with relatively few COVID cases among our students and employees, but we have recently seen an increase in daily new cases amongst our community.

We realize that many families chose to travel and/or gather over the holiday break. If your child(ren) or someone in your household is currently experiencing any symptoms related to COVID-19 as defined by the CDC, we strongly encourage families/students to stay home and get tested to avoid inadvertently bringing COVID to campus. Students should remain off-campus (home) until a negative test result can be obtained. As a reminder, negative test results from at-home testing kits are not valid. If the student is unable to get tested at this time, parents should reach out to Danniella Martinez at dmartinez@antonian.org to notify the school their child will be off-campus. Students should notify their teachers, and inquire about work that will be due/missed while they are out to ensure the student stays on track. Together, we can keep our community as safe and healthy as possible. Please turn up the volume on the prevalence of the new COVID-19 variant, symptoms of any kind should NOT be overlooked.

The wearing of face masks/coverings are highly encouraged by all individuals on campus (students, faculty, staff, and visitors) regardless of vaccination status.

If your child is experiencing any symptoms, please reach out to Coach Pelagio Halaba at phalaba@antonian.org for further guidance on our current protocols and new CDC guidelines.

We appreciate your immediate attention to this update!

Thank you,
John Mein
