Kaden, a graduate of our Project SEARCH program at OhioHealth Grady Memorial Hospital started working in Nutrition Services in 2022 and received long term employment supports via The Alpha Group through his Delaware County Board of Developmental Disabilities funding.
Recently, Kaden was acknowledged by OhioHealth staff for his communication and passion for patient safety. Earlier this month, when Kaden was serving as a host on patient floors, he came across a patient who was unresponsive. Kaden immediately notified the 3-East Nursing staff that a patient was not responding. His communication saved the life of this patient. The patient had gone into cardiac arrest. The patient was not on monitors, therefore if Kaden had not acted when he did, the patient likely would not have survived.
Kaden was acknowledged for his heroic efforts and dedication to patient care.
