Active Modes Plan update
We are excited to announce that we’ve kicked off the update to our 2014 Bicycle Master Plan and 2011 Pedestrian Plan. The result will be a unified plan that sets the stage for walking, bicycling, and micromobility infrastructure improvements and programs for the next 5-10 years in Fort Collins.

The Active Modes Plan will be under development from now through summer 2022. Our first phase is the Visioning Phase where we will explore community ideas for what walking and bicycling should be like in 10 years. Read on for a chance to share your vision.

We have selected Toole Design Group as the lead consultant team for this Plan. Toole has deep experience developing bicycling, walking, and other active transportation plans, including our own 2014 Bicycle Master Plan.
Share your vision: What should walking and bicycling be like in 10 years?
We want to hear from you! As part of our first phase of the Active Modes Plan, we are engaging the Fort Collins community to better understand what YOU think walking, bicycling, and micromobility should be like in Fort Collins in 10 years. By understanding your vision, we will be able to set better plan goals and objectives guided by a vision statement developed based on you input.

Our questionnaires close on Oct. 31, so don’t delay, submit your thoughts today!
