Praise God, Caring Partners was able to return to Belize to serve the Lord this July! For the first time since the global pandemic, our ministry was able to partner again with Pastor Prakesh and his church in Orange Walk, Belize. Many people in the community were reached, receiving both physical and spiritual healing.

The trip was filled with so many miraculous stories of people being impacted by God's Word. The team of 30 from the USA started each morning with breakfast and devotions at their hotel's small restaurant. Through these devotions, the Holy Spirit moved in the heart of the hotel's waitress, and she came to faith in Jesus Christ! Emmanuel, the brother of Osmar, the church's associate pastor, had been struggling with anxiety and deep depression after becoming involved with the wrong crowd, to the point the young man was suicidal. By God's grace, Osmar was able to convince Emmanuel to come to the clinic, and he heard a clear presentation of the Gospel in the Clinic of the Soul, and committed his life to Jesus. He was so filled with joy and peace, the entire team saw his countenance change, and Emmanuel lovingly served alongside the clinic team as a translator the remainder of the clinic week!

One young girl, Maria, came to the clinic with her mother. Maria had a cyst located on the edge of her left eye. The cyst had been growing, and no physician locally could treat it. Praise God, with the proper equipment from the USA, Dr. Erin, a member of the CPI team, was able to remove the cyst, to the joy of Maria and her mom. As mother and daughter continued through the clinic, they ended their visit at the Clinic of the Soul, where they also both accepted Jesus as Lord & Savior! We praise God and give Him the glory for the 167 patients that made a decision for Jesus, and are now connected to the Orange Walk church for discipleship and fellowship.

Prayers & Praises
Please pray for our next CPI mission journey - this September, an obstetrical surgical team will travel to Guatemala to serve with our churches and our medical clinic partner outside of Guatemala City. This past year, during CPI's primary care clinics in Guatemala, women have been identified who need obstetrical surgeries, such as hysterectomies and bladder repair. A woman at each of our Guatemalan church partners serves as the surgical ministry contact person, ministering to the local women in need and helping them get to the clinic for their pre-op exams. Pray for the entire process as examinations are finalized this next month, for the churches, their families and their outreach ministry to be strengthened, and for our surgical providers in the USA and in Guatemala as they also make preparations.
If you have read these newsletters over the years, you know Caring Partners has an extensive eyeglass ministry in Thailand through the efforts of our National Director, Pastor Jay Orata and his church. Hundreds have souls have come to faith in Jesus Christ through this vital outreach! To accomplish the ministry, Caring Partners ships thousands of eyeglasses each year to Thailand, and we were so excited to have found a reasonable shipping method to Thailand, via UPS Worldwide. However, we just found out today that our last shipment of eyeglasses is being held up in Thai customs due to new custom restrictions. It seems that our Thai church partner must now register as an importer, and assign UPS as our import agent. Please PRAY with us, that our ministry and Pastor Jay can navigate this complicated and confusing process, and the cost of shipping our donated glasses to Thailand will continue to be affordable for our ministry.
Thank you so much for those who have responded and purchased items for our healthcare minstry through our Amazon Wish List. Our biggest priority now is multivitamins for children and adults, especially for our upcoming journey to Thailand this November. Would you like to contribute to our Evangelism Through Medicine global outreach by purchasing vitamins for our mission trips? If so, click the button below to visit our Amazon Wish List page - once purchased, these products will ship to our warehouse in Franklin, Ohio at no cost!
