MORSEL FOR MEDITATION

Though justice be thy plea, consider this,

That in the course of justice none of us

Should see salvation: we do pray for mercy,

And that same prayer doth teach us all to render

The deeds of mercy.

William Shakespeare, The Merchant of Venice

(1596–8), Act 4, Scene 1.

“The best teachers are those who show you where to look, but don't tell you what to see.”

Alexandra K. Trenfor

Stewardship Today: "Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. 2 Corinthians 9:7-8
