Sycamore Island opens for the 2022 season!
Sycamore Island will reopen for weekends and State holidays beginning Friday, January 7th, 2022. Get your poles, kayaks, paddleboards, bicycles, saddles, binoculars, and get ready to enjoy the San Joaquin River Parkway.

Before Sycamore Island opens make sure to get your 12-month annual pass! No more worrying about getting the full value from your season pass depending on the time of the year it was purchased. The new 12-month annual park pass will be valid for a full year after the purchase date and is still just $85.
Rose Pruning Party with the Gardening Angels!
Saturday, January 15, 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Michael Harman, Fresno Master Gardener, will again offer instruction and supervision. Join us to learn how to properly prune roses during dormancy. Bring clippers and gloves (leather is best in mean roses) if you have them. Some tools and gloves will be available. We hope to see you for this fun workday.
PARCS Commission Updates
The City of Fresno has launched a website dedicated to Measure P.

The new website has all the information about Measure P and how you can get involved.

The Trust is encouraging community members to explore the website and take the Fresno resident survey. This survey will help the Parks Commission and City Council plan and allocate Measure P funds for the next few years.

The PARCS Commission meetings are hybrid. You are invited to attend in person at Fresno City Hall in the Council Chambers or join the Zoom meetings.

Commission agendas and other supporting documents are posted on the City of Fresno website
