CONGRATULATIONS Vice Mayor Jody Shirley and Councilmember Mike Zabel have completed the second in a series of programs for municipal elected officials. These programs require a serious time commitment and dedication in order to serve the City and the Citizens of Belleair Beach. Thank you for your hard work!

PROJECT UPDATES

BOAT RAMP AND SEAWALL PROJECT The 7th Street Seawall Renovation, 7th Street Boat Ramp Replacement, and 16th Street Seawall Renovation Project officially began on September 26th. Almost all vinyl sheet piling and rebar is in place at both sites. Both stormwater outfalls will be extended and formed to fit the backflow preventer valves. Project is on schedule to be finished by early January. A new fishing dock will be constructed at 7th Street when the project is completed.

12TH STREET, 13TH STREET, AND BAY DRIVE PROJECT The stormwater improvement project for 12th Street, 13th Street, and Bay Drive officially started on October 3rd after a short weather delay caused by Hurricane Ian. The Kamminga & Roodvoets crew has replaced a segment of 15-inch elliptical RCP pipe on the south side of 12th Street with new 15-inch round RCP. Recently, workers offset the water main and worked around two sewer laterals at 12th Street and Bay Drive. The overall project includes replacement of the aging pipes, inlets, and valley curbs, as well as milling and resurfacing of the roadway. Project completion date is on schedule for late January 2023.

SEPTEMBER BEACH CLEAN UP

The Work never ends and our Volunteers never stop! **we appreciate them so much ** Belleair Beach Logo merchandise is for sale at each cleanup shirts, caps, and plush hand towels - cash only please Call Tammie at 219-707-3745 to volunteer, or just stop by the 19th Street Beach Access on the first Saturday of every month from 8am until 9am. ...and, as always - Yummy Refreshments Afterwards!

Holiday Social & Tree Lighting Monday, Dec. 5 5:00-6:00pm at the Community Center Donations of unwrapped holiday gifts and toys may be brought with you to the Holiday Social or to the Community Center from December 1st through December 9th
