Matriculation Ceremony Officially Inducts New Rams Into #fRAMily

The Classes of 2024 and 2025 officially became Huston-Tillotson University Rams during Sunday's Matriculation Ceremony.

The event was highlighted by Words of Wisdom delivered HT Student Government Association Treasurer Elysse Burris, who encouraged the newest Rams to seek a spiritual foundation during their time on campus. Inspired musical selections were delivered by former Mister HT and former Mister HBCU Joseph Reese ('16).

The Litany of Matriculation, rooted in the Huston-Tillotson University Core Values of I.D.E.A.L. (Integrity, Diversity, Excellence, Accountability, and Leadership) was led by Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs Dr. Archibald Vanderpuye prior to each student receiving their HT Pin.

The Sunday event was a very engaged event, as new students to the #fRAMily learned more about the history, culture, and legacy of HT.

Led by Mister HT Christian Broussard and Miss HT Daniela Walker, new students were encouraged to embrace the educational and social opportunities Huston-Tillotson University has to offer while also maturing into young adults in beginning their academic matriculation.
