Last week, Jon Gordon posted the following on his Facebook page:
"I believe True Grit starts with knowing what you truly want. When you know what you want and you can see it, you will work hard and persevere in order to achieve it.
True Grit is also driven by clarity of mind, purpose, passion, optimism, faith, love, hope and quite honestly... stubbornness. Knowing your why, refusing to give up, ignoring the critics, believing in the possible, loving what you do and showing up day in and day out keeps you on the path towards your vision."
When the going gets tough, the days feel long (have you ever wondered how it could only be Tuesday?), and sometimes, I want to pull the blankets up and go back to sleep, I remember my WHY. Every day is a battle that we face. Trudging through the muck, refusing to give up, and staying the course is what each of you do everyday. The SISD Instructional Services team is so proud to work with, learn with, and walk alongside each of you as you model true grit daily with your teams.
