Leadership Council’s First Meeting for 2022-23 Fiscal Year-

The Leadership Council will meet in the Fireside Room at the Church at 6:30 pm, Monday May 23. All LC meetings are open to members. If you wish to attend, please email us at marymagdalafc@gmail.com


At our annual meeting on Sunday, we elected David Cloyd and Joan Chapman-Smith to our leadership council. Congratulations David and Joan!!


For the third seat there were not enough votes cast to identify a third person for the Leadership Council. We have implemented a runoff process that includes both electronic and a paper voting process at Mass on May 22.

301 Faith Partners Announcements

Adult Forum on Sunday, May 22 9 am

Sunday's forum is a panel and discussion about the 301 Faith Partners participation in ISAAC and other outreach related to immigration concerns. 


ISAAC is the Interfaith Solidarity and Accompaniment Coalition for our northern Colorado community. And here at 301 Faith Partners, we have an immigration task force that meets monthly with ISAAC as a key resource for our agenda. Judy Matthews from St. Paul's, who chairs the task force, along with Cheryl Backsen, Linda Hamilton, Linn Zink and others, will share some of their experiences related to ISAAC and our task force.

from 9 am–12 pm,


children ages 4 through 5th grade are welcome. (Teens older than that are encouraged to help). $10/child or $20 max per family (scholarships available).

Fort Collins Police Chief Jeff Swoboda will talk about significant changes that have taken place, and are planned for, Police/Community relations in Fort Collins.

 

A Question and Answer session will follow the presentations by Prof. Black and Chief Swoboda!

Join with Pymouth Church at the PSD School Board meeting on Tuesday, May 24 at 5:00 p.m. at 2407 La Porte Ave. to voice support for the rights of LGBTQ youth.


Quote from Reverend Hal from Plymouth Church: "Pressure is mounting on our school board from people who mistakenly believe that supporting youth who question their sexual orientation or gender identity is a form of "grooming" or recruitment. 

The School Board needs to hear our support for continued rights for all students."
