PTSA STRAW BALLOT

CSF COLLECTION
California Scholarship Federation, California's oldest honor society, begins online winter collection based on first semester grades through TODAY. Late memberships will not be accepted. There are no applications needed for this semester if your name is on the list. Be sure to check the list by clicking here before you proceed. There is a non-refundable CSF membership fee of $25 per semester which you must pay when you apply for membership at the PVPHS Webstore. If you encounter any webstore issues, please contact Ms. Croucier at [email protected]. If your name is not on the list and you believe it should be or if you are in a guided study class and your name is not on the list, email the advisor, Mrs. Okamoto, at [email protected]. Seniors, remember that to achieve Sealbearer status you must have at least one semester of membership during your senior year and this semester fulfills that requirement.
MUSIC AUDITIONS
Want to be part of Pen's award winning music department next year? Mark your calendar now as auditions are being held next month. Returning Peninsula students will audition during regular class time and students not currently enrolled in the instrumental music programs at Miraleste, PV Intermediate, or Pen need to contact the Peninsula music department to set up an audition. COLLEGE CAREER CENTER
FREE PRACTICE S.A.T & A.C.T. TESTS
Mark your calendars juniors and sophomores-there is a free, full length practice SAT test on February 20 and a free, full length practice ACT test on March 6. Both tests are proctored and virtual and begin promptly at 9:00 am. Students may sign up for one or both tests. Register here or go to the CCC pages on Pen's website. A confirmation email will be sent the week of the test.
CLUBS
CLUB COUNCIL MEETING
Attention club presidents: make sure at least one club president joins the Club Council meeting TODAY during lunch on TEAMS. An invitation is posted on TEAMS under PVPHS Clubs 2020-2021. The discussion will review club protocols and how to run club meetings this year.
