"AFTER THE DOGS LEFT"
In development by University of Georgia faculty, current and past students and members of the Pamoja 50th Anniversary Committee (2020),  “When The Dogs Left” is a documentary film inspired by events surrounding the founding and flourishing of “PAMOJA” by Pastor Nawanna Lewis Miller.  It showcases interwoven stories of Pastor Lewis-Miller and alumni across five (5) decades through historic heights and emotional experiences.

"When The Dogs Left" closely examines the racial climate of the University of Georgia through the eyes of students who inherited the legacy of desegregation from Hamilton Holmes, (who became a renowned medical doctor and leader) and Charlayne Hunter-Gault, (well-known former NPR journalist), and the legacy of cultural connection born of Pastor Lewis-Miller’s longing for pamoja (Swahili word for togetherness). After 50 years the African American  cultural connection still lives on at the University of Georgia.

LOVE REUNITED

"Love Reunited" website provides information about a 15-minute documentary "Love Separated in Life...Love Reunited in Honor" that shows the power of positive racial interaction in its content and its creation. Trailer 1:38: https://youtu.be/9mgDPv012gQ (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt6679790/).

The film was written and directed by Jackie Wright, a descendant of slaves in the U.S. and Jack Livolsi, of Italian descent, founder of Jackson Street Productions in San Francisco with the purpose of sharing the universal story of love, war, family, friendship, racial understanding and social justice. "Love Separated in Life...Love Reunited in Honor" is a film that demonstrates the power of racial harmony as Black, White and Asian families connect to honor a fallen U.S. Vietnam War patriot.
