Dear River Forest residents,
In the spirit of the Thanksgiving holiday, I would like to thank everyone who has contributed to the vibrancy of our community. This includes our Village staff for their tireless commitment to their work, along with our Village Board of Trustees who spend countless hours guiding our community through their selfless public service. I’d also like to acknowledge our commission and committee members - who volunteer a great deal of their time and expertise for the betterment of River Forest.
I’m also grateful to the many organizations that serve our residents, including our schools, park district, the Township and the Library, along with our businesses that enhance commerce and enrich our community.
Lastly, but certainly not least, I’d like to thank all of our residents for choosing to make River Forest their home. Every individual and group listed here contributes in many ways to our Village being a great place to live, work, and to raise a family!
If you are able to donate blood, you can help to save a life this holiday season. Trinity High School will be sponsoring a blood drive, in partnership with the Rotary Club of Oak Park River Forest on Wednesday, November 29 from noon until 6 p.m. The event will be held at Trinity High School and individuals can register here.
I hope everyone has a safe and happy Thanksgiving!
Sincerely,
|
