If 2020 taught us anything, it was the importance of adjusting to healthcare during a pandemic. When COVID-19 hit, Doctors Care adapted to telemedicine, implemented safety precautions and monitored recommendations from reliable health care sources. We continued to provide quality primary care for people in need, and kept everyone safe.

A new year brings new challenges. Our efforts turn to vaccinations - procurement, and strategies for distribution to patients and the community. While this is a primary focus, other goals exist for 2021. Dental services were discontinued due to COVID, and remain on hold until safety measures are implemented to protect staff and patients. Other goals relate to COVID-19 as well; enhancing behavioral health services, utilizing telemedicine as a long term option for patients, and strengthening remote capabilities for coverage and health navigation visits, to name a few.

Our goals are daunting, but as we’ve learned from 2020, nothing is impossible when our team of dedicated staff and volunteers pull together. Ensuring access to quality healthcare is our mission. Responding to the needs of the people we serve is our priority.
