FROM MR. BRUNE
Parents and Friends,
Next week is one of the most exciting weeks we have here at St. Peter’s, it's National Lutheran Schools Week! This week allows us a chance to pause our normal day in and day out activities and celebrate the blessing that St. Peter’s Lutheran School and all of the members of the Wildcat family are. We will have fun and crazy dress up days, begin each day with a whole school devotion as a school family and end each day with a special event. The afternoons will have some minute to win it games, the geography bee, a mystery teacher swap among many other activities.

Most importantly these events revolve around celebrating the blessing our school has been and will continue to be here in our community. You might hear me talk quite a bit about us being a family, being joined in a partnership for a common goal or things of that nature. The reason for this is because it is very important to us here at school. Together we are capable of much more than we are as individuals. We here at school appreciate being joined with all of you. Whether it be through sending your child to school here, being a member of our church, an alumni or simply a member of our community who keeps our school in your thoughts and prayers THANK YOU!

Have a great week next week celebrating National Lutheran Schools and our school!

In Him,

Chris Brune

Pastor's Sermon
Pastor Steve Ahlersmeyer is preaching this weekend. His sermon is titled "Be Like Babies...they like changes". Please take some time to prepare for worship by reading the Bible passages before attending church.

Old Testament - Jonah 3:1-5,10
Holy Gospel - Mark 1:14-20

Please join us for worship on Saturday evening at 5:00, Sunday morning at 8:00 or 10:30, or Monday evening at 6:00. The 10:30 service will be live streamed on the church facebook page.
Congregational Scholarship Update
(Only applicable for St. Peter's Lutheran Church members who have children attending St. Peter's Lutheran School or Concordia Lutheran High School)
The Congregational Scholarship that has been on hold due to COVID has been reinstated. Communication, via email and a mailed letter, has been sent to students and parents of the school and high school who receive this scholarship.

For those submitting a Google Form for Online Worship Attendance, you can now find the link on the St. Peter's website under the School tab or by using the link below.

Please remember:
  • Include only the names of each person watching and participating in the current service that weekend, not just the person submitting the form.
  • Answer the questions based on the hymns and sermon in the current livestreamed service.
  • Students and at least one parent both need to be participating together for each service watched.
  • Please submit your Google Form before 8 am Monday morning.

Didn't receive the letter or email about the scholarship? Click the link below to update your contact information or email the Church Office or contact Jenny Reith, Parish Administrator and liaison to the Board of Elders Attendance Subcommittee, with questions regarding who can receive this scholarship and how.
Stepping Stones Worship
She was feeling a little down, and then she did this one thing...

Join us for worship on Monday at 6:00 pm in the Church Gym. This week we will talk about Confession and Absolution and how they impact our lives. Come and see why Amy was so joyful after worship.

(As a reminder, Stepping Stones is a worship service, so attendance does count toward the Congregational Scholarship requirement for school families.)

Please include these requests in your personal and family prayers.
  • Wildcat families affected by COVID
  • Karl Frick
  • Julie Reidt
  • Fortney Family as they welcome baby Tyson
