FROM OUR EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

As we continue to struggle with immense heat, etc. I’m proud to say that your SARPC staff is growing. Recently, we have surpassed the 100 full time employee milestone with additional employees to come. Most of these are assigned to the AREA AGENCY ON AGING which is under the direction of long time Director JULIE MCGEE. For instance, our Nutrition Program serves 26 Nutrition Centers over our three Counties with 3,000 in-person meals served weekly. Also 4,000 home bound hot meals are delivered weekly along with 3,000 frozen meals. I feel that these services along with many others are helping so many with their quality of life allowing them to remain independent.
