Campus-Wide Student IDs Distributed This Week
If a student did not receive their campus ID click here. Students can upload their picture and once it is approved by administration an ID will be printed for the student.

The picture must be a headshot without a hat or sunglasses, no hand gestures, and preferably with nothing in the background. If for some reason your picture is not approved, you will be contacted to resubmit a new picture. If you have any questions, please email Mr. Rivera at [email protected].
Students will be required to wear their school ID while on campus. IDs are to be visible and worn above the waistline.

If a student loses their ID and needs a replacement, they should visit Room 2726.

Students have a choice of attending small group tutorials before or after school. Please check your email to see if you received a notification form Ms. Campbell.
Report Cards
We are working with the district regarding some issues that have arisen with the Semester 1 Report Cards. Once the issue is resolved, then we will alert everyone through our normal communication channels. The completed report card will be sent to each student's HISD email account.

Looking for a host family for Tiberio from Brazil!
A student from Brazil would like to join us at Bellaire this semester and is looking for a host family to welcome him! Tiberio says:

"Painting and drawing are also amongst my passions and hobbies. I really enjoy both traditional and digital painting, I think it’s a good way to let my creativity express itself, and I like the feeling when I finish a piece and it turns out the way I wanted it to be, despite being a perfectionist and having the (questionable) habit of finding defects in all of my works, and spending way too much time trying to fix it. Photography is also one of my favorite hobbies. I really enjoy taking pictures of landscapes and animals - especially my cats. During the lockdown, I developed a big passion for writing fiction and prose, but these works are personal and I don’t plan on releasing any of them soon.

At the end of the day, life is short, and the world is wide, I want to make some memories. Going to the exchange program will give me a new understanding of what life is like in the US, learn a lot of new things, and meet new people. I want to improve my English speaking and work on my maturity, responsibility, and most importantly, my self-confidence - no surprise I’m already planning on joining my future school’s theater club. I'm very optimistic and excited about this brand-new experience, I'm sure it will be unforgettable."

COVID-19 Notification Changes
We wanted to update you regarding the manner in which we will share notifications with families and the larger community. We will continue to follow the protocols shared in the Houston ISD Ready, Set, Go plan when a student is in close contact with a confirmed and/or presumed positive case. However, the district has shared that we should no longer share the general announcement with the entire school community, and instead only communicate with those directly impacted. The Houston ISD COVID-19 Dashboard remains updated on a regular basis and can be accessed at this link.
