Sunday worship for the foreseeable future will be outside on the Wydown Playground at 8:00 AM, 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM. For those unable to join us in person, online worship is available at 10:00 AM at www.csmsg.org. The Sunday 5:00 PM service is discontinued. 

The maximum capacity for outdoor service is 40 attendees to maintain physical distancing. Registration is required to assist with contact tracing if necessary. Register online at www.csmsg.org or by calling 314.721.1502. Registration online closes at 11:00 PM Saturday and registration by phone closes at 5:00 PM Friday.

Please note the following revisions to our worship protocol: If after attending a service at The Church of St. Michael & St. George or entering the premises you start to exhibit symptoms of COVID-19, we request that you inform us, get tested as soon as possible, and notify us of the result so that we may take the necessary action. When you are waiting for your test results, we ask that you worship with us online. If you unfortunately test positive we ask that you worship with us online until you are cleared by a physician.

Every year around this time, amidst the heat and humidity of late summer, I find myself singing and listening to Christmas music. I must subconsciously sense that we’re nearing the Christmas season. A few weeks ago, I began humming the opening hymn to Christmas Lessons and Carols, Once in Royal David’s City. A flood of happy memories of past services filled my mind and the usual anticipation set in. I even started wondering what repertoire Rob would plan before I realized that it may all look different this year. Read more

THE SUMMER SLUMP
It's common for churches to see what's been thoughtfully (or painfully) coined "the summer giving slump" when giving declines for most churches between May and August. Like CSMSG, many churches see a twenty percent or more decrease in giving during these months. Read more about why this happens and how you can help CSMSG avoid the slump.

Mark your calendar for Episcopal City Mission's Moment in Time Virtual gala fundraiser on October 8 at 6:00 PM. All proceeds benefit ECM's mission to provide hope and healing for youth in the St. Louis's juvenile justice system. Read more
ST. MICHAEL'S DAY
You’re invited to the St. Michael’s Sunday parade from 11 AM - 12 PM on Sunday, September 27th! Join us for fun, fellowship, and bagpipes without ever having to leave your car. The first 200 guests will receive a fried chicken boxed lunch. We’ll have blessing of the backpacks, games, a prize for best decorated car, and you can collect information for fall ministry programming. 

Please consider contributing to our collection of food and household items to help our neighbors at Last Days Apostolic Church. Bring a bag of groceries or other requested necessities listed on the Hunger Ministry page of our website. There will be a station to drop off your donations at the event.

CHURCH SERVICE LEAGUE
Church Service League (CSL), also known as Episcopal Church Women (ECW), meets Tuesday, September 8, via Zoom. All ladies of the church are invited to any or all sections. 

Schedule:
10:30-11:30 AM: Bible study via Zoom with Fr. Tom Albinson
 11:30 AM-12:00 PM: Break
 12:00-12:30 PM: Meeting begins via Zoom (lunch not provided) 
 12:30-1:30 PM: Installation of officers & bazaar discussion.
