Drink GNV at First Mag December 7th
Monday, December 7, 5 - 7 p.m.
First Magnitude Brewing
1220 SE Veitch Street, Gainesville

Join us for a Season of Drink GNV! Next up on the list is First Magnitude Brewing Company.

Back in 2012, four friends came together with the idea of opening a brewery in their hometown. The group all had the same goal: make excellent beer, build awareness and appreciation of Florida's springs, have a great space for people to come by and enjoy a pint, be an exceptional place to work, and be a big part of the local community. Since opening, they've made a lot of thing- award winning beer, a fantastic team, community connections and great friends.

We invite you to join us for a private tasting event (yes, we have the whole brewery to ourselves!). Enjoy multiple tastings of different brews as a First Magnitude representative guides you through them. Then, enjoy safely mingling with community members at our socially distanced tables outdoors.

Each ticket also includes a raffle ticket for a chance to win fabulous items! Water and snacks will be provided.
Drink GNV is sponsored by Servpro of Alachua County West.

Support Talent Strong Florida this Giving Tuesday

This Giving Tuesday, donate to support the Greater Gainesville Chamber's career pathway programs to ensure Greater Gainesville remains Talent Strong.
As Florida business and government leaders work to not only restart but reinvent Florida's economy, they would do well to embrace a simple but transformative idea -- that every Floridian needs education or training beyond high school.
The single best way to build a resilient economy that is able to weather and quickly bounce back from disruptions like COVID-19 is to cultivate a Florida that is well-educated -- that is, talent strong. As evidence of that, consider that the workers who recovered best from the Great Recession had at least a bachelor's degree. And nationwide, 99% of jobs created since the last recession went to people with at least some college education.
