According to the Parent-Student Handbook it states that shorts need to be navy blue and knee length. Please keep this in mind on Spirit wear days

8th grade Fundraiser

The 8th-grade class is confirmed to host the Sendik's Community Grill on Sunday, May 1 (this Sunday!) and Sunday, May 22.

The grill will be from 11 am to 4 pm and there will be burgers, hot dogs, brats, chips, and beverages.

The 8th graders are completing "Project Lead the Way" Design and Modeling course. They are learning to use the Tinkercad to create a 3D model that can be printed using our Dremel3D Printer.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:

We're looking for rising 7th/8th graders through high schoolers to assist during VBS with leading sessions, helping with crafts and running activities. Vacation Bible School 2022 - Monumental: Celebrating God's Greatness will take place from June 20-24, and volunteers will need to be at SMV from approximately 8:30 am - 12:30 pm each day. A short training will take place on Friday, June 17th, and all volunteers should plan on attending. Volunteers can apply here

VBS is a great way to fulfill service hours requirements and should be a lot of fun!

With the warmer weather, Mr. Falk has been taking the students outside for Math class.

The 7th graders had to interview the 2nd graders for information to write a narrative story for each second grader.

Home and School Updates

Community Golf Outing

We are excited to announce the St. Mary’s Community Golf Outing. This event will support both Athletics and Home & School. The date for the event is May 22, 2022 at Western Lakes Golf Club. Registration and check-in starts at 11:00am. Practice range and lunch will be between 11:00am and 12:30pm. Golf begins at 12:30pm with a shotgun start (scramble format), followed by hors d’oeuvres and happy hour from 5:30pm to 6:30pm. Finally, dinner will be served at 6:30pm. The cost for the event is $150.00 per golfer. Please use the link provided to sign-up online with your foursome. Grandparents/Special Someone Day

Save the date - May 24th! This is for ALL students in K3-8th grade to invite Grandparents or Grandfriends to spend the morning at school. The day will start at 8am with Mass and end by 11am. Please return your RSVP form as soon as possible, and no later than May 11th, for a final head count. More details to come in the coming weeks. Click here for flyer.

YEAR-END SCRIP News

There are two more weeks to get your orders in for physical SCRIP cards. Orders are due in by Monday, May 16 and 23, 8am. The SCRIP year ends June 10, all rebates earned will be deducted from your 2022-23 tuition invoice received from the parish office this summer.
