Mardi Gras Update
Donation Forms Due by Friday, Feb. 18
Thanks to all the families who have completed an online auction donation form. We are adding new items every day, and we appreciate everyone who is working to make our 2022 Mardi Gras a success. A reminder that our Mardi Gras website (link below) is your one-stop shop for our Mardi Gras to purchase tickets, donate an auction item, make a cash contribution -- and view the Mardi Gras Auction Catalog!

Donation forms are due to be completed online by Friday, Feb. 18.
Please do not send in or drop off an auction item without first completing the online donation form. We want to be sure all families who contribute are acknowledged properly on the auction website, and completing the form allows us to get in touch if we have questions. It is also very helpful if you take a photo of your item and upload into your online donation form. This saves time for us and creates interest when people visit our auction website.

Ticket sales have begun! Visit our Mardi Gras website to purchase tickets, view auction items, donate an item or make a cash donation. Items are being added daily, so check back often to plan your bidding strategy! The online auction begins on Feb. 21. There are, however, a few signup items including Out-of-Uniform Week and Crafty Kids Sessions with Mrs. Copous, Mrs. Blackwell, and Ms. Bradley, you can sign your child up for now.

MOST Scholarship Opportunities
If you are the parent of a rising Pre-K, JK, SK, 1st- or 2nd- grade student, you may be eligible for a scholarship from MOST, (Memphis Opportunity Scholarship Trust). MOST is a third-party, non-profit organization that grants scholarship money for students to attend private schools who might not otherwise be able to do so.

If you meet their basic guidelines to apply, submit your name into the lottery. If selected, you will move on to the application process, where income will be verified. You must apply to enter the lottery on or before 5:00pm February 28. To see if you are eligible, please visit their website: MOST SCHOLARSHIP

Step-Up Day for PK-3rd Grade
Rescheduled for Friday, Feb. 25
Due to the school closure on Feb. 4, our Step-Up Day has been rescheduled for Friday, Feb. 25. If you signed up for the Feb. 4 date, your name is on the list to attend on Feb. 25. If you didn't sign up but would like to, please email Cathy Armstrong. If you are unable to attend but would like to learn more about your child's class for next yea, please email Cathy Armstrong or call 435-5344.

The Step-Up Day will give students in preschool through 3rd grade an opportunity to visit the classrooms they will be in next year. Students will participate in activities, be introduced to expectations and routines, and get to know next year's teacher a little better.

School Lunch Program Survey
Still Time to Complete
Thank you to the parents who completed the Lunch Survey last week. If your child is enrolled in our school lunch program, please take a few minutes to complete this short survey, which will help us in assessing how well our lunch program is meeting our families' needs. LUNCH PROGRAM SURVEY

Lunch Program Payments
Just a reminder that families should be making their lunch program payments directly to Delectable Catering and not through the school's payment portal. Thank you for your cooperation.
Our pre-Mardi Gras Flocking has begun!

What is “flocking” and how does it work?

  • You make a donation of $25 to surprise someone with a flock of plastic flamingos in their yard.

  • The individual who was flocked can pay $20.00 to have them removed the following night -OR- can pay $25.00 to send the flock to a friend’s yard.

  • Flocking Insurance: If you would prefer to protect your yard from being flocked, pay $30.00 to be insured against the pink intruders.

  • Payments can be made online on the ICCS website through the payment portal. Just select “Mardi Gras Flamingos” in the Payment Destination. Be sure to type in the Comments Box whether your payment is to have a yard flocked, have a flock removed from your yard, have a flock removed from your yard and placed in a friend’s yard or if you are buying Flock Insurance. Be sure to provide the address of house to be flocked.
