Adoptable Pet Spotlight
Meet Merlin!

This gentle boy is two years old and looking for his forever home! When you first meet Merlin, you'll see that he's a little bit of a shy boy. He needs some time to adjust to a new home and get comfortable with you, but his foster can tell you just how sweet he is once he knows you. He loves to follow you around and hang out in the same room with you. If you can't find him, he's either curled up taking a nice long nap or sitting by a window watching the world go by!
Merlin can be talkative when he wants attention and especially when it's meal time! He's very curious and can be playful when he wants to be, even though most of the time he's a very chill, calm boy. Merlin met both dogs and cats here at the shelter and didn't really react strongly to any of them. He probably would prefer a calmer home environment though. If you're looking for a handsome roommate who just needs some extra patience and TLC, then call today to meet Merlin!

If you are interested in meeting this pet, please contact Chesterfield County Animal Services at 804-748-1683, option "0," to schedule an appointment. Office staff are available by phone 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday, and 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays. The shelter is located at 9300 Public Works Road, Chesterfield, VA 23832.
