YORhub Contractor and Consultant Survey Results
From January to February this year all firms appointed to YORbuild2, YORbuild Major Works, YORcivil2, YORcivil Major Works and YORconsult2 were invited to take part in a survey. The purpose was to help us understand how four key issues - Brexit, Covid19, Modern Slavery, Business Continuity Planning - are affecting them, and what measures are being implemented to mitigate the risks.

We thank all of those who responded to the survey. Please view the results on our website at the link below.
BIM Early Steps Roadmap
The Centre for Digital Built Britain (CDBB) has released new resources to support local authorities in moving to a data-led approach to building management. The BIM Early Steps Roadmap and Toolkit, developed by the Construction Innovation Hub, has been designed to be easy to use and to guide local authorities through the steps to take.

Carbon Reduction Code launched
The Cambridge Centre for Smart Infrastructure and Construction (CSIC) has launched a draft Carbon Reduction Code for use by clients, contractors and supply chain.

The NACF is a member of the working group developing the Carbon Code as a result of which YORhub is pleased to have the opportunity to contribute to discussions.

The Carbon Reduction Code will be formally launched in the autumn to coincide with the UK hosting the 2021 United Nations Climate Change Conference at COP26.
