It is March 2021... ALREADY!!!!
Time flies when you work hard to achieve your goals!

We hope your semester is off to a great start & you are enjoying your classes. NC Virtual teachers are always just a phone call, text or message away. 

When should you reach out to your teacher?
  1. If you have a question about anything!
  2. If you are going to be unavailable to work in the course for more than a day or two.
  3. Internet or computer issues
  4. When you want to make a plan for success
  5. You need a PEP Talk--we all need one every now and then!
  6. If you feel like you are falling behind and need advice
  7. You have a success story or an interesting idea to share
  8. There is a broken link in the course
  9. You do not understand the directions to an assignment
  10. Something amazing has happened in your life and you want to share it!

If you have not requested your testing materials and site, 
there is still time!
March 12th is the deadline!

Registration for 2021-2022 
is set to open on March 29, 2021!
(Last day of Spring Semester:  May 18th!)

Here are our tentative dates for next year:

Summer 2021: July 1 - Aug. 11
Early Start Fall 2021: Aug. 9 - Dec. 10
Standard Start Fall 2021: Aug. 23 - Jan. 7
Early Start Spring 2022: Jan. 5 - May 2
Standard Start Spring 2022: Jan. 18 - May 16

Our 2021-22 course catalog will be ready soon. We have many new courses coming your way including Middle School and Elective courses!

Reach out to the Virtual Advantage and tell us about your spring semester and your plans for the summer.
Please let us know if you have an NC Virtual student participating in the NCHE Thrive graduation ceremony.

If you are a member of NCHE and your senior is not participating in the ceremony, we still want to recognize them in the special graduation edition of Greenhouse Magazine.

The NC Virtual CodingClub is a computer science (CS) club that is opened to any student. 

The purpose of the club is to provide an online network for NC CS students to socialize, increase CS skills, gain exposure to CS opportunities, provide career development/work-based learning experiences, learn to fly a drone through programming, promote CS, and participate in competitions. 

We meet biweekly and collaborate in Discord (free communication/collaboration app).

Student Research Alliance

The NC Virtual Student Research Alliance is a unique opportunity for high school students to conduct original research on topics of interest related to NC Virtual courses. The goal of the program is to provide a platform for innovation and to create resources for students to deepen their understanding of specific course content.
