PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

Last week we welcomed Jim Overton, Duval County Tax Collector. Mr. Overton discussed the fact that Jacksonville, due to consolidation, varies and has a more complex network than other cities and municipalities in Florida. One way to accommodate residents of Duval county is to “drive productivity by using technology”. Mr. Overton talked about the new software integration that links all the branches together, the new website that directs a

customer to the right service, to the use of QR codes for invoicing and information boards at the branches around town. He also mentioned that the office has installed self-serve kiosk in three grocery stores and hopefully will add more around the county in the near future.
