Board of Supervisors to Consider Mitigated Negative Declaration for Cascade Canyon Project

The Marin County Open Space District (MCOSD) plans to present the Cascade Canyon Bridges and Trail project to the Marin County Board of Supervisors on Tuesday, November 28th. At the meeting, the Board of Supervisors will consider a Mitigated Negative Declaration (MND) for the Cascade Canyon project. An MND is prepared for a project to show there is no substantial evidence that a project could result in any significant adverse environmental impacts.

Details about this meeting will be provided next Tuesday on the Board of Supervisors meeting page online.

Don't Forget to Clean Your Gutters

Clearing gutters and removing debris from waterways on your property will protect your home and property from water damage and flooding. Property owners should inspect and maintain their gutters and creek portions, including clearing debris, vegetation, or other blockages that could hinder water flow.

You can check your parcel maps for water flow information. Learn more about maintaining creeks and drainage systems on your property.

Sandbags Available

The Department of Public Works provides sand, shovels and bags for use by residents to prepare for rain and storms. DPW asks that the material be used for the private use of residents only. The pile is off of Bank Street and Elsie next to the skate park.
