Keeping Families Together for Hope and Healing
Back in January, we took a call from a Major at the Eglin Hospital late on a Saturday evening needing to secure rooms for a family who were with a loved one, waiting for him to pass. This compassionate, tenacious Major said Read more here.
March 29 - Dear Fisher House
Thank you for being a safe, comfortable haven as my husband received surgery and treatment for his recent cancer diagnosis. Being able to stay so close to the Eglin hospital during a such a stressful time truly was a blessing to us.

As a small token of our appreciation, we have ordered to be delivered to the house some food items from the local Sam's Club to be available to future guests. The items ordered are healthy snacks, coffee, teas, etc. They will be arriving this week in three different shipments. Please provide at your discretion to the guests.

Again, thank you so much to Marc, John, Donny and Judyann, you all made our stay so comfortable and stress-free!

With great appreciation,

Did you know? Our Eglin Fisher House is open to all services? We love the Rangers and each year they host MAC members for a day in the swamp to experience a tiny taste of the training our 6th Ranger Training Battalion Camp Rudder Army Ranger students endure.! Pictured here is Dan Nowers of Odyssey Systems Consulting Group and Fisher House board member receiving his certificate of achievement from the AWESOME LTC JD Pritchett . Our home remains open, caring for our military families and when greater care calls for a family to travel, we go too, figuratively speaking. Families are placed in partner hotels at our expense, thanks to our generous community. Help keep military and veteran families together for hope and healing.
