Dear Students and Families,

We are excited to see how many of you have registered for COVID-19 vaccination appointments on campus next week. There is still time to schedule an appointment if you have not already done so. We will be opening registrations to others in our campus community on Thursday morning and ask that you register as soon as possible to ensure you have an appointment.

All students age 16 and over are now eligible for vaccination and we encourage all who qualify to take advantage of this vaccination opportunity on campus. Community Health Center, Inc. (CHC) will be set up in the Fieldhouse on April 26 and 27 for the first dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine. Second doses will be provided on May 17 and 18.

Please see the links below to register, provide consent, and schedule an appointment. Students age 18 and older will use the link to create their own appointments. Parental registration and consent will be required for students ages 16-17. Health insurance information will be collected during the registration process.

CHC is only able to provide vaccines for students who will receive both doses in this clinic. Students who have already received a first dose of COVID-19 vaccine off-campus will need to return to their original vaccination site for the second dose. Please contact Danielle Shippey, director of health services, for further instructions regarding second doses.

We look forward to seeing many vaccinated Bearcats next week.

Sincerely,

Danielle Shippey, RN
