SPECIAL NOTICE:
In observance of the Labor Day holiday, crews will be offsite starting Friday, September 1, at noon. Construction activities will resume on Tuesday, September 5, at 6:00 a.m.
TRAFFIC IMPACT AND DURATION:
Tuesday, September 5, through Thursday, September 7, during the nighttime hours, 7:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m., U.S. 2/7 will be under lane closure between South Park Drive and Mountain View Drive to facilitate the installation of curb and shaping work throughout the nighttime hours. This work will require the closure of the outermost southbound lane of U.S. 2/7 between South Park Drive and Mountain View Drive. At least one travel lane will remain open in each direction during the nighttime hours. Side street and interstate ramp access will be maintained throughout this work. Motorists are strongly encouraged to use caution while driving through the work zone and pay close attention to signage as traffic patterns will change.

Tuesday, September 5, through Friday, September 8, during the daytime hours, 6:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., U.S. 2/7 will be under lane closure between the Interstate 89 (I-89) ramps to facilitate the installation of the west side retaining wall. This work will require the closure of the outermost southbound lane along U.S. 2/7 between the I-89 ramps. Only a single travel lane will be closed in each direction during the daytime hours.

All users should expect delays and plan ahead.
CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES:
Next week, during nighttime hours, crews will install curb and conduct shaping work along U.S. 2/7 between South Park Drive and Mountain View Drive. This work will require the closure of the outermost southbound lane along U.S. 2/7. Side street and interstate ramp access will be maintained throughout this work.

Next week, during daytime hours, crews will continue to construct the western retaining wall that will run along the west side of U.S. 2/7 outside of the I-89 bridge piers and will require the closure of the outermost southbound lane along U.S. 2/7.
