WKU welcomes the Class of 2027
Members of the WKU Class of 2027 are participating in M.A.S.T.E.R. Plan activities through Saturday. Residence halls open for all students at 8 a.m. Friday. Fall semester classes begin Monday. (More: WKU Restaurant Group hours through Sunday and for the Fall 2023 semester.)
WKU community invited to Topper Fest
WKU faculty, staff, students, alumni and community members will kick off the 2023-24 academic year at Topper Fest at 5:30 p.m. Friday on the South Lawn. The third annual Topper Fest is paired with Fan Fest, another Hilltopper tradition, and will feature food from Aramark and food truck vendors; children’s activities, yard games and more; autograph sessions with Hilltopper student athletes; a petting zoo hosted by the WKU Department of Agriculture and Food Science; music by The Downtown Band; and fireworks. WKU faculty and staff members will receive two free drink tickets with a WKU ID.

The Kentucky Statewide EPSCoR Committee, the governing body of the state’s National Science Foundation (NSF) Established Program to Stimulate Competitive Research (EPSCoR) program, recently voted to adopt the Kentucky Science & Technology Plan: Vision 2030 (S&T Plan). Learn More

Kentucky Museum to host Reaching Beyond Tradition
The Kentucky Museum at WKU will host Reaching Beyond Tradition, four discussions about the history, importance, and continuing evolution of Southeastern basketmaking, from 1 to 8 p.m. August 24.
Early College at WKU in Glasgow
The inaugural Early College at WKU in Glasgow class participated in orientation activities Wednesday. The students from seven area high schools are preparing for the start of the WKU fall semester.
