[VT Route 113 Resurfacing Project]

TRAFFIC IMPACT AND DURATION: Monday, August 16 through Friday, August 20, between the hours of 7 AM and 7 PM, motorists should expect varying surface conditions consisting of grooved pavement, loose gravel and limited pavement markings throughout the project limits. Up to three separate operations will be occurring on a daily basis throughout the project. Delays should be expected especially when travelling through the entire length of the project.
 
Motorists are encouraged to exercise extra caution while traveling through the work zone.


CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES: Next week crews will finish reclamation work. This work includes the pulverizing of cement subgrade to allow grading and shaping of the roadway.
 
Crews will continue fine grading the roadway in Vershire. The fine grading operation is performed to bring the subbase gravel to the correct design elevations, crown and banking.
 
Midweek crews will begin recycled cold mix paving. 
 
Saturday work is possible for the remainder of the construction season. 
LOCATION: Beginning on VT Route 113 at the intersection with VT Route 110 in the Town of Chelsea, extending easterly for 14.824 miles, through the Towns of Vershire and West Fairlee, to the intersection with VT Route 244 in the Town of Thetford.

PROJECTED COMPLETION: Fall 2022
