From The Desk of Mr. Johnston
St. Alphonsus students have been up to so many exciting things recently!

Just the other day a group of our students participated in the Catholic Memorial STEM Challenge. Our students joined participants from 18 other Catholic schools in the area to engineer a roller coaster track that would take the most time to complete. Also, our Forensics team had a great showing in the Oak Creek East meet last weekend. We are so proud of our students and all that they do!

If you have any activities or accomplishments of our students please do not hesitate to send them in; we love to share those with our school community.

I also wanted to thank everyone again for your generous donations during Catholic Schools week. When the school dropped off our donations at the Milwaukee Rescue Mission they were so grateful and appreciative. When all of our donations were put together, it was amazing to see what this community can accomplish in the name of living out of mission. It was a great addition that our donation bags were decorated and “made with love!”

Stay safe and have a great weekend!
Russ Johnston

Students Attend CMH STEM Challenge!
This week, some of our 6th & 7th grade students had an opportunity to participate in the Catholic Memorial High School STEM Challenge! 6th grader Richie R and 7th graders Isabella S, Luke M, Tyson M, Carl V, and Cole N were accompanied by Mrs. Schermetzler.

This year's challenge revolved around the PROPEL Design Thinking Process. 64 teams of students from 18 area Catholic schools were asked to design a marble roller coaster & keep their marble elevated above the table as long as possible. Our students had a great time with their mentor Joe!
