Here Comes the Sun!

Happy summer, Aspen Ridge families! After soaring through another successful school year, it's time to celebrate with a season of fun, relaxation, and connection. This is your chance to go on adventures (big or small), learn new things (outside of the classroom), explore the great outdoors (even in your own backyard), read lots of books (on a beach, in a tree, at the pool, or by flashlight in a tent), and best of all spend extra time with your family and friends. This is the time to make summer memories. We can't wait to hear all about your adventures when we're back together again in August! Be safe and have fun!

We have just a few things to share in this June newsletter. Thank you for taking the time to read through and stay up to date on all that's happening at ARPS!

In case your Owls are already excited to find out who their teacher will be for the 2023-24 year, we wanted to share the class list announcement dates/details with you now. Students in Kindergarten through 5th grade will receive a postcard in the mail revealing their teacher by Friday, August 11th. Students in 6th through 8th grades can view their teachers and schedules on Infinite Campus beginning on August 11th.

If you do not receive a postcard or if you have any difficulty accessing Infinite Campus, please contact info@aspenridgeprepschool.org after August 11th for your teacher assignment.

Dear Owl Families,

It's hard to believe that we have come to the end of another remarkable school year! As a school community, we helped our Owls continue to flourish and grow. As we ease into summer break and begin to enjoy the opportunity to relax and reflect, I'd like to acknowledge the efforts made by so many of our students, staff, and parents in the Aspen Ridge community over the course of this year. 

First and foremost, I want to express my deep admiration for our incredible students. Their commitment to learning and determination to succeed has been inspiring. Our students show remarkable strength and tenacity, and I am so proud of their many accomplishments this year. From academics to activities, our Owls consistently soar in and out of our school community. 

To the parents and guardians, thank you for your trust and support throughout the year. Your partnership with the school has been instrumental in creating a nurturing and enriching environment for our students. Your collaboration, active involvement, and dedication have been crucial in ensuring the success of our Owls throughout this school year and into the future!

I would also like to acknowledge our teachers and support staff. Our teachers consistently go above and beyond to provide our students with a high-quality education. Your passion, creativity, and tireless efforts have made a profound impact on the lives of our students. Our support staff, administrators, and Board of Directors work tirelessly behind the scenes and play a vital role in keeping our school community running smoothly. 

Finally, I want to express my gratitude for the incredible sense of community that defines our school - and each and every one of you play a part in making that happen. Your support, compassion, and unity have been the foundation of our success. Together, Aspen Ridge will continue to soar! 

As we enter the well-deserved summer break, I encourage all our school community members to recharge, reflect, and rejuvenate. Embrace the opportunity to spend quality time with loved ones, engage in activities that bring you joy, and pursue personal growth. Let us use this time to replenish our spirits and return with renewed energy and enthusiasm for the upcoming academic year.

Please email Celine Todd at ctodd@arprep.org to request a soft cover yearbook for $25 or a hard cover yearbook for $30.

A limited number of yearbooks are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

We're so proud of our Aspen Ridge graduates! Our kinder grads are ready for first grade, and our 8th grade grads are off to exciting new adventures in high school. We miss them already, and hope they'll come back to visit us soon! Once an Owl, always an Owl!
