Come Bloom With Us (March 22 - 27)
Thank you for keeping our staff and community safe and healthy!
Our primary goal throughout the pandemic has been to keep staff and patrons safe and healthy. Since July, more than 3,000 people have come into our buildings to use our services safely, and more than 10,000 have done so curbside. We plan to continue our safety streak. We ask that our public continue to always wear a mask when visiting our physical locations, whether for curbside service or service inside our buildings. We will see your beautiful faces when the pandemic is over or via Zoom. 😷

A Celebration of Women Composers
Tuesday, March 23 at 1PM
As far back as the seventh century BC, Sappho, the Greek lyric poet, played her own musical accompaniments. Throughout the twelfth century there were female troubadours and during the sixteenth, madrigal composers. It was not until the end of the nineteenth century, however, that more women begin to enjoy public performances of their music and become professional composers. Jeffrey Engel will highlight the lives and the music of several distinguished female composers and concert pianists. For Adults.
NAMI Book Discussion + Social Justice Book Club: Heavy
Tuesday, March 23 at 6:30PM
Laymon writes eloquently and honestly about the physical manifestations of violence, grief, and trauma on his own body. Through self-exploration, storytelling, and honest conversation with family and friends, Heavy seeks to bring what has been hidden into the light, from the most intimate--a mother-child relationship--to the most universal--a society that has undervalued and abused black bodies for centuries. For Adults.
