Did you know...
In four months since April 1, 2023, the Shevchenko Foundation has granted $419,000 to organizations and individuals through its programs in support of Ukrainians displaced in Canada by the war against Ukraine.
$64,250 of the total was awarded in grants to 18 community organizations in support of their initiatives to provide displaced Ukrainian children and youth with access to summer programming.
We congratulate all of the recipients on their commitment and selfless dedication to welcoming Ukrainian newcomers into our community, and providing a safe, inclusive environment!
The Tryzub Awards Gala was the catalyst for a successful program made stronger with generous contributions from our partners Temerty Foundation and Canada-Ukraine Foundation. On behalf of all recipients - Thank You! |
