Covid-19 Protocols at Old North Church
Masking Optional - Vaccination Expected

Face masks are no longer required for the congregation. Following guidance from the CDC, the Marblehead Board of Public Health, and medical professionals in our congregation, we are no longer requiring face masks for the congregation. The choir will continue to wear masks while singing. We recommend masking for those at increased risk of COVID, those who are unvaccinated, or those who have a high-risk household member.

All members of the Old North Church clergy, staff and choir have been vaccinated against Covid-19. We urge you to be vaccinated as well. For information on the vaccine or how to be vaccinated, please go to www.mass.gov/covid-19

We urge you to continue to observe physical distancing between households, particularly if you or a member of your household is unvaccinated.

Hand sanitizer and disposable face masks are available in the narthex.
Thank you!

We would like to thank all who planned, organized, staffed, attended and participated in the various events and the worship service held last weekend to say goodbye to the Rev. Dr. Dennis and Susan Calhoun. They will certainly be missed. It was a heart-felt and wonderful send-off for them as they head to Seattle to enjoy their retirement with their children and families. If you were not able to attend last Sunday's worship service in person, it is available for viewing on our website, www.onchurch.org.
Update from the Interim Search Committee

We have received several impressive candidate profiles and are in the process of interviewing the candidates. We will keep the congregation posted as we have more information.

If you have any questions about this process, please reach out by email to one of the co-chairs of the Interim Search Committee: Bonnie MacDonald bonnietim@comcast.net or John Meakin jgmeakin@icloud.com. We appreciate everyone's faith and understanding as we move through this time of transition.
Children’s Faith Formation
Karen Kilty, Director of Children’s Ministries

This Sunday is Communion Sunday. The Children will first gather in the Parish Hall. We will be listening to the story in John’s gospel when Peter meets the risen Jesus on a beach at early dawn. Jesus asks him 3 times “Do you love me?” paralleling the 3 times that Peter denied Jesus just before the crucifixion. Peter affirms his love for Jesus and is reminded of how he must show that love – “feed my sheep,” in other words care for the vulnerable in our world. That is how we must live, as disciples of Jesus. Where do we see Jesus? How can we care for those in need?

We will gather for communion in the Sanctuary with families and all who gather on Sunday morning. I look forward to being together.
