ICYMI (In Case You Missed It): Yesterday, the first Vulnerability Assessment Public Outreach Meeting took place on September 28, 2023, at Franjo Park. This event was an excellent opportunity for residents to actively engage with the Cutler Bay Comprehensive Vulnerability Assessment and Adaptation Plan funded by a $125,000 grant awarded by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP). Attendees received a comprehensive overview of the project's objectives, climate threat assessments, and adaptation strategies, while also participating in discussions and providing valuable input on data analysis methods. Your involvement is crucial in shaping the Town's resilience and sustainability, ensuring that local knowledge and concerns are taken into account.
