June Journeys

Part 2

Greetings Ministry Partners,

Welcome to the second edition of my June newsletter. I continue with another update on our ministry work in the Philippines by highlighting some of the new classes we have launched, as well as sharing some inspiring testimonies from individuals whose lives have been touched by our students and their churches. I hope you'll be encouraged.

We appreciate your prayers and support.

New Classes

We started new classes in Negros Oriental, Negros Occidental, South Cotabato and Zamboanga del Norte. This photo shows Pastor Gil’s new class in the city of Dipolog.

And these are the two new classes in T’boli, South Cotabato with tribal pastors. Pray that these students will learn and study effectively and grow in wisdom and knowledge. Pray that God will raise up a growing harvest force of men and women in these areas of the Philippines.

Testimonies

Pastor Melvin and I went to Inabanga to visit the church that our students planted there. They have rebuilt and enlarged the church building which was totally destroyed by Typhoon Odette. The ministry has actually grown because the church members helped the community during and after the typhoon. Their testimony and practical concern helped them develop a good relationship with the neighbors. Twenty-six families are now attending the church services. Here are some testimonies from our trip to Inabanga:

“Junior” lost his fishing boat in the typhoon last December but some of our friends helped him get a replacement. He is now helping with the ministry. He faithfully attends Bible studies and his wife and most of his eight children are coming to church. He is the fisherman in the photo.

Will You Help Us Get to the Global Conference?
