We are sending a HUGE thank you to ATPF Intern and Volunteer Kylie! Kylie and a team of psychology students from the University of Oregon will be planning and running a mental health workshop, college readiness workshop, and two teen time events for our ATPF Teens and Young Adults!
We are so incredibly lucky to have such dedicated volunteers and interns who have such big hearts for our ATPF families!

| ZOOM PICTURE TAKING TIPS FOR VOLUNTEERS |
|
Thank you to all our volunteers who are signing up for our virtual program events! Here are some great tips on how to take pictures of our virtual events:
In order to take photos of events, we would like to have ONLY screenshots of the zoom sessions, not a picture of the screen.
Photo Taking Instructions:
- If you cannot take a screenshot on your computer, use your phone
- Make sure to swipe to gallery view (the phone will only show 4 people at a time) and continue to swipe and screenshot to get photos of everyone
- Hide yourself (optional) and non-video participants
- To hide yourself, turn off your video
- Click on the 3 small dots in upper right hand corner of anyone who has their video off → select "hide non-video participants"
- Switch off taking gallery-style photos and individual photos of the kids/speakers
- Try to ask for one photo of everyone smiling at the camera (use gallery view) at beginning or end of event/meeting
How to take Screenshots:
- On MAC: press Command + Shift + 4 → then click and drag over area you want to screenshot → release to take photo
- On PC: Press the PRT SC or "Print Screen" button at the top of your keyboard

1. Submit a Video for our Kids and Families!
We are calling on all our ATPF Interns and Volunteers to submit Craft Videos to share with our kids and families. These videos can be 1-5 minutes long. Watch this video, by Intern Abby, for a good example:

The ideal format would be:
1. Warm welcome to ATPF Families
2. Professional Introduction of yourself - "My name is ____ and I am a volunteer with ATPF"
3. High energy when explaining activity

2. Join our #ReadwithAutismTree Movement!
We need your help! Autism Tree is launching a new daily video series called "Reading with ATPF" and needs videos of our many incredible volunteers and interns reading children's books. We would love you to share your favorite book from your childhood or a book that you think is motivating or fun. Thank you to our volunteer Cristina Guerra for providing this amazing video of her reading "How the Crayons Saved the Rainbow" by Monica Sweeney for our example:

HOW TO CREATE A READING WITH AUTISM TREE VIDEO: Our new intern Andrew is ready to help edit together YOUR #ReadwithAutismTree Movement videos!
Follow these 4 easy steps to submit your video:
1. Make a brief video recording of you introducing yourself
2. Audio Record yourself reading the book
3. Video yourself flipping the pages of the book at the pace of your audio

ATPF Artist, Author, and International Ambassador Joel Anderson has challenged ATPF to make 100 scrub caps for doctors treating COVID-19 patients at Scripps Mercy Hospital! Help us meet this challenge today!

- Buy some fabric and ribbons or elastic! Easy places to find these include Joann's Fabric DIY face mask Supplies and Hobby Lobby.

- Call, text, or email ATPF Team directly to coordinate drop off of donation materials (see all contact information below)
