MESSAGE FROM FR. JEFF

Hello everybody!

This Sunday is Respect Life Sunday and begins our annual observance of Respect Life Month in October. During this month, we reflect more deeply on the value and dignity of every human life. We will have a special collection for mothers in need, special prayers, and our participation in the 40 Days for Life prayer campaign. The Church invites us to consider our radical solidarity with mothers in need, as well as, all who are devalued and dismissed as expendable. May God open our hearts and minds to see each human being as a beloved child of God and guide us to act in faith for their protection and true flourishing. Please see below for more information.

This weekend will also be the Men’s Welcome Experience. Please pray for the team and participants as they take this next step in their journeys of faith. May God meet them where they are.

Our Sunday ministries for children have begun, including our PREP (children’s religious formation classes), Sunday School for four year olds through first grade (during 11:00 a.m. Mass) and Nursery for one year to three year olds (also during 11:00 a.m. Mass). The Sunday School and Nursery are in our preschool building. Spots are limited in the nursery and are on a first come, first serve basis. You should enter through the main church doors and walk down the school hallway to the preschool building. You can still register for Sunday School on our website: stpatlou.org/sundaychildren.

God bless you and yours!

Peace,

Fr. Jeff
